There is a website that is created by people who wrote several wedding planner books.

weddingchannel.com

You register (free) with your date, etc, and it will provide a monthly checklist of things that should be completed.

It also provides a personalized budget, and a guest list manager. It's awesome, because you can do everything on the pc.
References :
No one on here can give you an actual list, even a small wedding can be overwhelming.

Trust me on this:

Go to Barnes & Noble or Books a Million, theres a wedding planning section. Theres a lot of wedding planning guide books that have everything you could possibly need to know, everything down to a detailed checklist month by month. In case you have a hard time trying to decide, mine is "Easy Wdding Planner Organizer & Keepsake" by weddingsolutions.com. Its awesome. Good luck!
References :
My wedding planner guide has a list of reminders in it that were very helpful for my own wedding. There are a lot of things on here that I probably would have never thought of on my own:

1. Have small flower arrangements at bride's home for pictures before the ceremony.

2. Leave a sticky note at the front door, before leaving for the ceremony reminding you of gloves, pocketbooks, bouquets, etc.

3. Are there special seats for special people? Tell the ushers.

4. How many lights do you want for the ceremony (if indoors)

5. When the bride and bridal party arrive for the ceremony, do you want the doors in the rear closed while everyone gets organized? (for an indoor ceremony)

6. Do you want windows opened or closed? (if indoors)

7. Do you want fans on? (If indoors)

8. Who will signal the organist that the ceremony is about to start?

9. Do you want the doors at the rear of the church or hall to remain opened or closed during the ceremony? If closed, who will open them before recessional?

10. Should someone bring rice or rose petals?

11. Assign someone to check out reception and see that all flowers and cake have been delivered and place cards set out.

12. Give a list to the photographer of special group photos you want (families, classmates, etc.)

13. If you want centerpieces taken home, have someone pass word along.

14. Make every attempt to be on time.

15. Find a special friend to assist with all the above.
References :
Ha!! do i have the answer for you and you can thank my wife for this. If you need help getting things organized and need some type of a calender or check off list then everything that you'll need from seating to a plan of action can be found at theknot.com its what my wife and i used to make sure we didnt forget anything. The other thing i wanted to say was make sure that there is someone at your wedding that is telling you what you have to do. From its time to take particular pics to its time to cut the cake. Usally the DJ stays on top of things but you might want to make the person who is hosting the event (Reception manager) is on hand to tell you two what do next.
GOOD LUCK!
References :
theknot.com

The Bride and Groom should top the list, just in case one of them forgets that his or her marriage is taking place.
References :
What should be on a wedding checklist?
i'm trying to organize a wedding, and i've got quite a few things down that i need. Things like flowers, cake ideas, dresses for myself and the bride's maids...but that's fairly basic. It would be great if i could get some suggestions on what else to consider, right down to the details, the nitty gritty. Thinking about it, i don't have that long, and it's starting to get a big overwhelming. Any ideas on how to, first of all, calm myself as well as my partner, then create a full, well thought out plan are more than welcome!
