Review: Feel like I need to leave an honest review. I wasn’t going to both but it’s been over a year and it still bothers me, so I will.

We used Shelley’s Flowers for our wedding. The customer service we received was great, the people were all lovely, everything turned up on time and the flowers were of good quality and well put together. However, I didn’t get what I asked for.

I asked for plain white bouquets for the bridesmaids, and white and pink for me and my two flower girls. We all got white and pink ones. I asked for a really small, hand held bouquet for me, and I ended up with a huge bouquet. I wanted it small because my dress had a large skirt and I didn’t want the flowers to hide my shape in my pictures, which unfortunately it now does. As a result, and as I feared, I do not have many photos at all of the front of my dress because the flowers hide it. This is true of me walking down the aisle and of the portrait shots with family and friends.

A real shame because I was very specific about what I wanted and we paid close to £2000. I really wish I’d gone somewhere else because although the staff are lovely, I was upset that I just didn’t get what I ordered, which really is the basic requirement you would expect from any florist.
